Well, we got a fish! No, it is not a dog and we are getting a dog, just not yet. So, this is helping fill that urge until the great day comes when we can get a dog. So, meet Mater!
He is a pretty fish, for a fish.
We went to visit a fish store that was right next to where we were eating, and Zack was going crazy for the fish. He loved them. Nate was amused too. My sister decided we needed a fish, and so she bought Mater for the kids. They really like him.
Nate was so cute the first day when we had to leave to go get Livvy. He said, "But what about the fish? What are we going to do about him when we leave? He can't be by himself!"
So, Mater has helped entertain the kids and maybe it will help teach them some responsibility so we will be ready for a dog soon!
